As United States financial dominance comes under growing pressure and a new economic order emerges, we will likely see more conflicts like Syria. While the foreign policy elite can never openly admit it, the U.S. is left with no choice but to carry on an offensive, revisionist doctrine to maintain the unipolar order. The alternative could lead to a devastating economic collapse that would significantly alter our way of life.
